The films I'm interested in are those that my wife love to sleep on--and this is one of them. Also, this is one of those long posts that I write for myself so there's nothing here but a documentation of what I randomly do. So I just watched this film on Netflix in the midst of snowy weather here in Texas, it is about a story of a doctor in the 60s working with patients that have suffered a rare illness called Encephalitis Lethargica or commonly known as Sleeping Sickness and treating them with a new drug. It was believed…

When you're in a point of your life where you did not have a choice but to work for a company, the best way to thrive is to be that person who your co-workers would be willing to work with. When you are that person they won't see you as their competition, they will see you as a person with good intentions.

I think the reason why I have such a bad temper is that I have a lot of emotional baggage that I internally carry. While cooling down after a mile run, my wife checked on me to see if I was in the garage. We looked at each other and I opened up to her that I have been having decision fatigue. When I talked about it and how I feel she kind of brushed it off and reached for the door--I hate when she does this because I am discussing a problem that demands a solution and she just gave me a cold shoulder. Not discussing a problem is a problem. I asked her to hear me out. I told her, "I am…

1 mile runs

This week I tried to be consistent running a mile each day whenever I had the chance. Consistency really makes a big difference when you're trying to be better at something. I noticed that I was only able to do this with enough night time sleep and rest. Also, in terms of drive and motivation, tracking your stats helps you to not go back from where you were.
